Shoot your first WA1440
Burgess and Hill Trophy Shoot
Sunday 7th July, 10am – 3.30pm (ish)
This is a great opportunity to shoot your first WA1440/Metrics round. This is the round all the UK top archers shoot at the National Tour events, but the starting distance can be whatever you are comfortable with, so it’s not too scary. What’s more, being a handicap shoot anyone can win!
Details: Simply SignUp and come on down. Sighters are at 10:00am so try to arrive by 9:30am at the latest to help set up the range. And bring your lunch!

Aim for the sky
Clout Shoot @ Charterhouse
Evening of Tuesday 23rd July
Love those movies where the archers release a volley of arrows into the sky? Now’s your chance to do the same! On a Clout shoot, you shoot at a massive target at your choice of 180yds or 140yds or 120yds. It’s great fun and you’ll be amazed how far you can shoot!
Details: Our Clout shoot is held on the Charterhouse School (Godalming) playing field. Meet in the car park/field of Charterhouse School at 6:00pm, and we shoot 3 doz or until the light fades. Sign Up in the usual way.

Learn how to save a life
CPR & First Aid training at the Village Hall
You may have seen the Defibrillator on the outside wall of the Clubhouse, but would you know how to help with CPR or first aid in an emergency? The Village Hall offer a comprehensive course, and there are some spaces left on the 13th July session (flyer on the club house wall).
Details: If you would like to take part, please contact Stuart Edwards

Fast Track Beginners courses
As you may know, we now hold courses every Saturday (12:30-15:00) when the range is available. We run these courses primarily using our coaches but anyone can help out. At the moment we have 10+ people doing their beginners course so help is always needed. The next one is this Saturday, 6th July.
Details: Volunteer on the general shooting tab of the SignUp app – just add your name if you like to get involved (leave a note if you like).
