Commemorating India's victory in the 1999 Kargil war, he emphasized the need for readiness to adapt to these changes. Gen Chauhan stressed on the importance of trust and professionalism, stating that future conflicts will require flexibility, innovation, and integration across military domains including cyber and space. He underscored the role of the armed forces in upholding national trust and security.
