West Ham Offer For Max Kilman Straight Cash, Wolves Feel ‘Fantastic’ Business
West Ham United’s offer for Max Kilman is straight cash and Wolves view the sale as ‘fantastic’ business, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
Centre-back Kilman is a player that West Ham have been desperate to sign this summer and they failed with offers for him earlier in the window.
With Wolves having no financial need to sell Kilman, West Ham have been forced to come up with an attractive proposal.
West Ham are paying Wolves a fee of £40m and the fee is a straight cash agreement.
Wolves view the offer as ‘fantastic’ business and too good to turn down for the defender, even though they were not keen on parting with him.
New Hammers boss Julen Lopetegui has been keen to reunite with Kilman at the London Stadium and he is set to get his wish.
West Ham have been hunting new centre-backs this summer and recently saw a bid for Jean-Clair Todibo turned down.
The Premier League side could sign another centre-back after Kilman, with Angelo Ogbonna having departed and Nayef Aguerd drawing interest.
