Christopher Vivell has signed his Manchester United contract after getting a work permit to start immediately with the Premier League giants.

 

Manchester United technical director Jason Wilcox recommended bringing in the 37-year-old German executive to the supremos at Old Trafford.

 

Manchester United are signing him on a short-term basis to work for the club during the ongoing summer transfer window.

 

 

Vivell is known for the smart recruitment he did at Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig and will be the club’s director of recruitment.

 

According to Sky Deutschland, one final hurdle for him to start his role at Manchester United has also been cleared after he received his work permit.

 

 

He has already signed a contract with the Red Devils and will start immediately at Old Trafford.

 

Vivell will provide his expertise his talent ID and recruitment as the new Manchester United management look to navigate their first transfer under new sporting director Dan Ashworth.

 

 

The German is expected to be retained for the long term with Manchester United said to be keen to use his expertise in working inside a multi-club model.
