Love Island’s Sammy Root reveals exactly what the boys are thinking ahead of Casa Amor recoupling
LOVE Island’s Sammy Root has revealed exactly what the boys are thinking ahead of the dramatic Casa Amor recoupling tonight.
The 23-year-old went through the sister villa twist himself last year during his stint on the ITV2 show.
Sammy, who ended up winning the series with ex-girlfriend Jess Harding, tested his connection with the blonde beauty during Casa Amor.
And the current Islanders are certainly doing the same thing.
When speaking exclusively to The Sun about what he thinks they all might do, Sammy said: “No one knows what they’re gonna do until it has to happen. That’s all I’m gonna say.
“Like you can have a plan in your head….
“You can think ‘Oh, no I’m not’, but Casa is such a surreal experience and you’re put in some crazy situations.
“So to stay now would be very difficult, but I can’t see every couple staying strong the whole way through Casa because is just Casa. It’s crazy.”
When asked who in particular, Sammy said: “No one in particular. I think when you’re in Casa, it’s the people you don’t expect to do so.
“Like, even even in my sort of experience, I never thought Montel was, and he did so.
“But I mean, he ended up changing his mind and coming back to Leah. But it is sometimes the people you really don’t expect. And not only that like you don’t know who’s gonna come in the door.
“Someone could be in a perfect relationship and then the even more perfect person walks through the door for them.
“Like, I said, you’re on Love Island like you’re there to to meet new people. So yeah, I’m excited to who does and who doesn’t.”
During his time in Casa Amor, Sammy smooched Amber Wise AND Gaby Jeffrey.
Amber was left in tears after Sammy confessed to kissing Gaby just moments after locking lips with her.
But after that he confessed he was more interested in Gabby, but then decided to couple up with Amber – leaving Jess single when she arrived back.

A source said: “The recoupling will shock everyone and no one is safe.
“Reuniting the two villas was explosive – there was a lot of drama and heads will roll.
“The tension was unbearable and viewers will be left gobsmacked as to who choses who.
“The infamous Casa recoupling will cause chaos and has completely shaken up the villa and the relationships.
“A number of Islanders have already been dumped from the villa and are on their way home.”
