A FOUNDATION that costs just $6 has one beauty fan raving over the compliments she gets when she uses it.
She called the affordable makeup staple “shockingly good” despite being “ridiculously cheap.”
Redditor Puzzleheadedlime8577 shared her go-to beauty product with others looking to spruce up their routines.
She said the buy was so good, it compelled her to join the makeup subreddit to spread the word.
“Just joined the sub to put this out there in case anyone wasn’t aware that this is actually a very good product,” she said.
“Shockingly good actually.
“I think we get programmed by marketing into believing that a product — especially makeup and skincare — has to be expensive to look good.
She added that she had been on the hunt for a game-changing foundation.
“I consistently get compliments when I wear this one and it seems to have the best staying power on me while remaining dewy and believable,” she said.

The Redditor uses the Wet ‘n’ Wild Photo Focus Dewy Liquid Foundation, which is sold for $5.47 on Amazon.
The Redditor added that she had tried other brands that left a bad taste in her mouth.
“My latest attempt was with Laura Geller and that is just atrocious,” she said.
“I can’t even believe how good their marketing is with that crap that turns orange and crusty almost immediately.”
She pointed out that her “shockingly good” foundation does the job way better.
“Anyway, the Wet ‘n’ Wild foundation is buildable, the color range is impressive, the applicator is nice, and it works well with a sponge,” she said.
“The price is ridiculously cheap, basically like buying a candy bar at CVS.”
She added that she should gatekeep the price of her cosmetic find.
“I don’t know, maybe I shouldn’t tell people my secret HG foundation is so cheap lol,” she said.
