• The Mariners are ending the bullpen transition for Double-A starting pitching prospect Logan Evans, perhaps signaling their intentions to prepare to trade from their starting pitching depth this month.
• While we get excited for all eight Mariners prospects to appear on the BA top 100, let’s not forget about this guy, who might win a Gold Glove at the hot corner one day.

• The Mariners have cut ties with one of last year’s top minor league bats.

• In the first major trade of the summer, the Brewers acquired right-hander Aaron Civale from the Rays in exchange for minor league infielder Gregory Barrios.
• The Twins called up top infield prospect Brooks Lee as they prepare to make their October run.
• David Laruila at Fangraphs spoke to Padres young outfield sensation Jackson Merrill, who has turned into a pretty complete hitter.
• Major League Baseball announced the slate of All-Star starting position players.
• As all of the Marlins coaches and executives exhale in relief when he lands it successfully.
