I’m Britain’s most prolific dad with 160 kids and counting… I own my own ‘sperm factory’ & women pay £100s

BRITAIN’S most prolific dad who has fathered more than 160 kids has revealed how he runs his own “sperm factory”.

Joe Donor – who has chosen not to reveal his surname – has spent the last 14 years helping couples have babies, sometimes going so far as to have sex with the woman to get results.

He does also use partial insemination (sex without kissing or cuddling) and artificial insemination methods, shipping his unique merchandise from his base in Newcastle.

Joe, 52, sends the seminal product across the country in insulated packaging in a bid to help impregnate all the women who request his sperm.

Speaking to Channel 4‘s Life Uncovered documentary, for an episode which aired in January 2024, Joe spoke about his unique methods of donation to host Ben Zand.

Joe said: “Some people may have a partner so they don’t want to kiss, because that’s very intimate.”

When asked to what extent he does what he does because he just likes having sex with random women, he replied: “If I actually wanted to have sex every day, a relationship might be a better idea.”

He did admit he enjoyed those experiences, saying they were “meaningful” and it was like having “100 different lives”.

During a segment of the programme, Joe goes to visit one of the children he has sired.

He is questioned about the strangeness of the situation, and Joe says: “Some fathers don’t see their children at all”.

Joe estimates that around half of the women he works with request the natural insemination method.

He said he thinks he is “living his best life” and he has an innate desire to have children, much like a hunger.

While Joe says he is not paid for his services, he is reimbursed for expenses.

The documentary host speaks to couple Jake and Kate, who are using Joe’s artificial insemination services – through a syringe full of sperm.

“Joe’s £100 a sample,” Kate said. “The sperm donation clinics you’re looking at £1,000, £2,000.”

HOW DOES SPERM DONATION WORK IN THE UK?

Licensed clinics cannot pay donors more than £35 for a donation, but, while private donations are unregulated, it is not illegal for a recipient to pay a donor outside of the clinic setting

If you donate your sperm through a fertility clinic or a sperm bank, you won’t have any responsibilities or rights towards a child conceived using your semen.

However, as of April 2005, children conceived through sperm donation do have the right to ask for certain information about their donor once they reach the age of 16.

You can find the clinic that is best for you through the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) licensed clinic.

Every year, around 2,000 children are conceived with the help of a donor.

Donated sperm cannot be used to create more than 10 families, with no limits on the number of children born within each family.

The couple agreed they do not want Joe to have any kind of involvement in the child’s life.

Speaking while in a hotel room, meeting a woman for an artificial insemination (using a syringe), Joe said he would get “probably about a hundred (pounds) or so” for his expenses.

When questioned over his motivations, and whether it was to do with leaving a legacy and pursuing a kind of “immortality”, Joe said: “The pharaohs did have their pyramids and this is all I have.

“I’m not going to go out and build castles in the sand.”
