7 incredible photos from the 2024 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest

As has become the tradition on the 4th of July, fans and competitors gathered at Coney Island to celebrate American independence and hot dogs. Records were set in all three events as women’s winner Miki Sudo ate a record-setting 51 hot dogs and buns, men’s winner Patrick Bertoletti crushed a personal best 58 dogs in his first event win and Eric “Badlands” Booker improved on his own record in the lemonade chug.

The sights surrounding the event were wild as usual, especially with an unusually close competition on the men’s side due to the absence of the dominant Joey Chestnut. Here are some of the best photos from the day.
