Cops were called to Alcott Close in Feltham following a stabbing

A man was knifed at 2.07pm on Alcott Close, and just six minutes later, two other men were stabbed barely a mile away on Walsham Road.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: “On Thursday July 4 at 2.07pm police were called to Alcott Close in Feltham to reports of a stabbing.

“On police arrival officers found a male with a stab injury. The suspect was no longer on scene. The male received medical treatment.

“Six minutes later, police were called to Walsham Road to reports of a stabbing at the location.

“On arrival, officers found two males with stab injuries. The suspect was no longer on scene.”

The attacker remains at large and no arrests have been made yet, police said.

Two of the victims’ injuries were initially thought to be life-threatening but police later said all three men were in a non-life-threatening condition.

It is currently understood the incident is not linked to terror and the Met Police said there was no link to the General Election or polling day activity.

Cops are currently focusing on the Allcot Close site where a police cordon has been put up.

A bike could be seen still on the pavement beside a medical kit, MailOnline reported.

A Section 60 order, giving officers additional search powers, is in force in the area, Hounslow Police said on X.

The order began at 4pm and is set to run until midnight.

Scotland Yard continues to grapple with knife crime more than any other authority.

Home office data shows there were a staggering 14,577 knife crime offences recorded by Met cops in the 12 months to December 2023.

It means Met police deal with 29 per cent of knife crime in the whole of England and Wales.

Home Secretary James Cleverly previously told The Sun’s Never Mind The Ballots that blade crime had been boiling in London despite settling in the rest of the nation.

He slammed Mayor Sadiq Khan’s “unwillingness to be honest about the increase in knife crime in London”.

Days before clinching a third term as Mayor, Mr Khan promised a crackdown on street crime with a package including a £3m investment in youth workers.

He said: “I want to tackle high street crime head on. We’ll have extra police targeting the worst hotspots where people are more like to be victims.

“I’m also investing in new street-based youth workers, focused on those key after-school hours when young people are most likely to get caught up in crime in their local areas.”
