The flood situation in Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary in Assam remains critical, with over 8% of rhino habitats submerged. Rising Brahmaputra River levels have also affected anti-poaching efforts. Forest guards are on high alert, patrolling the area to prevent any poaching incidents. Fortunately, no animal deaths have been reported, and two wild boars were rescued. As the water recedes, the situation is expected to improve in the next 24 hours.
