Ville Platte man arrested in connection with sexual assault of juvenile relative
Jordan Cheyenne Vidrine, 26, was arrested on June 24 and charged with five counts of first degree rape, five counts of oral sexual battery, and five counts of indecent behavior with juveniles.
EVANGELINE PARISH, La. (KLFY)-- A Ville Platte man was arrested after authorities were informed of a sexual assault between an uncle and his 10-year-old niece, which happened almost one year ago.
After learning about the assault on June 12, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office discovered, through further investigation, that there had been inappropriate sexual behavior between the uncle and his juvenile niece for approximately two years.
Jordan Cheyenne Vidrine, 26, was arrested on June 24 and charged with five counts of first degree rape, five counts of oral sexual battery, and five counts of indecent behavior with juveniles.
Vidrine is being held in the Evangeline Parish Jail without bond.
