More interclub matches this weekend

On an already busy weekend with Captains Mark McAleers prize taking place on Saturday we have several interclub events also taking place.

On Friday our Junior Foursomes take on Bray at 11.30am. Two pairs will represent us in Bray in foursomes matchplay. The results of both matches are combined to reveal the winner. Pete Anderson will be looking after the team on the day. Representing us on the day will be Will O’Riordan,Milo Doyle, Toby Murphy and Marc Lawless.

On Saturday morning our Barton Shield team will take on Edmondstown at 8am in Druids Heath. Again it’s a foursomes matchplay competition where the combined score from both matches will give us the winner. The team is managed by Karl Holmes.

On Sunday at 3pm Ray McDonnell will send his Barton Cup team out to take on Beech Park. We have 2 matches at home and 3 away.

Finally on Monday at 3pm the Old Conna Seniors team will take on Kilmashogue in the 2nd round at home in Greystones. A win will mean the team would progress to the finals day in Old Conna in August. The format is a team of twelve playing in 6 pairs in fourball, the best 5 cards will count and the away side will add 5 courtesy points to their total. The team is managed by Dermot Whiston and Pete Murray.

All the teams would welcome your support both home and away. Please wear your colours to show your support.

Scoring in the matchplay events will be available on the scoring app.
