Brits were left scratching their heads when the Not Fair singer announced her arrival to the controversial app this week.
OnlyFans is subscription-based social media primarily used by sex workers.
Mum-of-two Lily, 39, is charging fans £8 a month for a glimpse at her trotters after being inspired by her five-star rating on WikiFeet.
She’s reportedly already released six exclusive photos in less than a week.
She joins other celebrities, such as Katie Price, Kerry Katona and Lauren Goodger, in the business venture – but non-celebs on the platform say there’s one crucial thing for them to remember.
One mum-of-three, who has earned over £118,000 selling her feet pictures, has issued a stark warning to OF newbie Lily.
Lizzy Groombridge often hits the headlines thanks to her 6ft 3in height and long legs.
The 30-year-old has proudly raked in six figures selling her size nine foot pictures on OnlyFans in recent years.
And while she supports Lily’s decision to jump on the bandwagon, she said it’s important for the Smile singer to be transparent.
“I’ve always been a fan of her music and I’m in support of her decision, [but she must] continue to be honest about her journey,” Lizzy, from Cornwall, says.
“Otherwise her younger fan base may be led into a false sense of obtaining easy money.
“It’s a personal choice; I know how younger people have looked up to me in the past and thought it can be a good money maker – but it’s not that easy.
“For her, she’s got the backing of being who she is.
“It’s hard just to be successful in this industry without fame and others should not be led to think so.”
Lizzy believes Lily has “seen an opportunity to maximise her earnings and is securing her own future”.
What is OnlyFans?
OnlyFans is a subscription content service based in London.
As of 2023, it is thought to have more than 220million registered users and over three million content creators.
Sex workers charge monthly fees for access to pictures, videos and more.
While popular for porn, the site isn’t exclusively designed with that in mind – anyone who wants to build up a fan base and charge them for it can set one up.
Celebs like Katie Price and Kerry Katona are popular personalities on the platform.
“Whether you’re uploading tutorials, tips, behind-the-scenes footage or just endless selfies, a lot of your followers would be willing to pay for them,” the company states.
For every subscription that’s sold to a viewer, performers get 80 per cent of the cash while OnlyFans gets the rest.
It isn’t limited to adult content, as it has become popular with physical fitness experts and musicians.
The OnlyFans veteran previously revealed how she and her girlfriend, Candie Dixon, who is 4ft 11in, make £5,000 monthly on the platform.
She said that they’re often mistaken for mum and daughter, with her dubbed the “Green Giant”.
But despite the hate, she’s making it work in her favour, with her top-rated foot fetish content surrounding being a giantess – an imaginary gigantic woman.
“I had a custom request from a fan to put my dirty white socks on his face after walking around my house as a giantess,” she adds.
“I don’t meet fans, just make content with someone trusted for them to buy.
“I won’t do any requests that are too dark or inappropriate, as there are some people who overstep the line.
“My most popular content is lift-and-carry point of view, humiliation, crushing and also shrinking roleplay, such as standing on toy cars and food.
“My fans say it turns them on, as they like to be submissive under my feet.
“I’m seen as their superior and they enjoy being only worthy to me as a slave.”
Lizzy has also sold a pair of used tights for a whopping £39,000 on the site.
So far, Lily hasn’t delved any further into the foot fetish world.
But Lizzy believes the star is onto a winner – as long as she doesn’t lead impressionable young girls into thinking its all sunshine and rainbows.
“Lily has chosen not to go all the way with nudity, which could be down to her image,” she says.
“But with her huge reach, she will almost instantly obtain high earnings.
“I think it’s really positive for the foot fetish community, but the only thing I’d say to consider is her fan base and the influence she’s having on them.
“Lily must keep them open to the highs and lows.”
