CALL The Midwife star Olly Rix has left fans drooling after showing off an epic body transformation.
The 39-year-old actor looked seriously ripped as he ditched his shirt to show off his bulging muscles in the impressive snap.
Olly looked worlds away from his role in the BBC‘s period drama as Matthew Aylward, the sharp well-dressed businessman on the show.
The star’s fans did not know where to look as he left them hot under the collar with his latest selfie.
Olly looked incredible as he revealed that the results of his body overhaul were down to training for an upcoming role.
The star’s impressive abs were on full display as his veins popped across his arms and chest.
Whilst he kept details about his next acting venture under wraps, the TV hunk captioned his post: “Thank you to the team at Andarta Performance in helping me realise the best shape possible for this next one.”
The buff star’s fans went wild in the comments section as one said: “Crikey. You don’t get this at Nonnatus.”
Someone else added: “Christ, as if it wasn’t hot enough today.”
A third joked in reference to his marriage to Trixie on Call the Midwife: “Bet Nurse Trixie would enjoy the sight! For real though Olly, you’re JACKED.”
“Brains and Beauty. Powerful combination. You look very handsome,” wrote a fourth.
Whilst a fifth added: “Seriously? As if you weren’t already hot! Wow!”
Away from the hit BBC show, Olly was understood to have grown close to co-star Helen George, who played his on-screen wife, after they both split from their partners.
But last month, The Sun told how the pair had drifted apart and have unfollowed each other on social media sites.
Olly, 39, also deleted a selfie with Helen, 40. In November last year, the on-screen lovers were spotted leaving his house in West London.
It came months after she announced her split from fellow Call the Midwife star Jack Ashton, 37. They have two children together.
Around the same time, Olly split from girlfriend Natasha Fagri.
But a source said Olly and Helen have now drifted apart. They added: “They were there for each other in the wake of their splits.
“But it seems they are no longer close and have made this clear by removing each other on social media.”
