Ryan Garcia’s troubles continue as the boxing star has been expelled from the WBC.

The expulsion was announced by WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman after Garcia used racial slurs about black people, and made anti-muslim comments during a spaces stream on Twitter Thursday. Garcia’s comments quickly made the rounds on the social media platform, which led to Sulaiman issuing the statement expelling Garcia from all WBC activities.

“Exercising my authority as president of the WBC, I am hereby expelling Ryan Garcia from any activity with our organization,” Sulaiman said. “We reject any form of discrimination. I fear for Ryan well being as he has declined multiple attempts for our help with mental health and substance abuse.”

According to the Associated Press, Garcia responded, saying in a since deleted tweet, “I was trolling I want all the killing to stop. I love everyone sorry if I offended you.”

Garcia’s team did not immediately respond to messages from MMA Fighting.

The latest incident has added to a tumultuous stretch for Garcia. After defeating Devin Haney in a massive upset in April, Garcia tested positive for banned substance ostarine, and was subsequently suspended by the New York State Athletic Commission for one year. Additionally, Garcia was arrested for felony vandalism at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills in June.
