Eight surrender in connection with Limassol family brawl

Eight people wanted in connection with a 50-person fight in Limassol handed themselves in to the local police station on Friday.

The fight unfolded on June 27 between two families of Syrian origin.

The eight individuals appeared before Limassol’s CID office with their lawyers where they were arrested and will appear before court for remand.

Another two people who were arrested on Thursday were remanded for three days.

In total, 21 people have been arrested.

As a result of the fight, two people were injured and six vehicles damaged.
