Travis Barker Talks Being a Dad, Welcoming His Son With Kourtney Kardashian

Travis Barker opened up about his experience with fatherhood in a very rare interview.

The 48-year-old rock star recently welcomed his fourth child – a son named Rocky who is his first with wife Kourtney Kardashian.

He reflected on becoming a dad when he met his stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya and how fatherhood changed his life.

“The most wonderful thing you could do at any time in your life is have a baby or bring a human being into this world,” Travis told People.

He said that Atiana provided a “crash course” and that he “learned so much” after welcoming his son Landon and his daughter Alabama.

Speaking of Landon, he recalled learning that his son was on the way: “The day I found out, I left my house and I ran to the freeway,” he said. “It was four miles, and then I ran four miles back, too.”

“I had this urge to just be the best version of myself, be healthy and take care of myself more — and I think that’s never gone away,” Travis added.

Being a dad to Rocky is “just as good as I remembered it,” he told the outlet.

“I love being a dad,” he gushed. “That’s my favorite accomplishment, it’s my favorite thing I get to do every day.”
