Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame set to honor Merle Haggard with bronze statue

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (KFOR) - Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF) announced this week that a date has been set for the unveiling of the Merle Haggard statue.

According to the news release on Wednesday, OMHOF said the date is set for Oct. 10, 2024. The The unveiling will also be highlighted with a concert featuring Ben and Noel Haggard, Merle's sons, and the Swon Brothers.

The event is free to the public.

Tickets to the concert will go on sale on a date to be announced.
