The party continues at Waterfront Blues Fest Day 2

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Portland's biggest party of the summer is rocking on into day two of the Waterfront Blues Festival on Friday.

At the sunny Tom McCall Waterfront Park, the music and fun will continue throughout the weekend.

The events kicked off Thursday morning when the first performers took to the South Stage. But it all culminated in an over-30-minute explosive fireworks show to celebrate the 4th of July.

Friday, the performances opened with Portland-based Ashleigh Flynn & the Riveters. But festival attendees can look forward to even more across four stages throughout the day, including sets from Margo Price and blues legend Lucinda Williams.

Although the festival encourages using public transportation to the events, there are limited parking options available. Nearby lots are located at Southwest 1st and Clay, 1st and Jefferson, Naito and Taylor, Naito and Harrison, 4th and Yamhill, as well as 3rd and Alder.
