4th of July fire burns Topeka mobile home

TOPEKA (KSNT) - A mobile home fire late on the 4th of July holiday caused thousands of dollars in damages.

According to a spokeswoman with the Topeka Fire Department, crews responded to a reported mobile home fire around 10 p.m. Thursday near 21st and Adams.

When firefighters arrived, they found the fire had spread throughout the mobile home. TFD says the fire was contained to the structure and no injuries have been reported.

TFD says the cause of the fire remains undetermined at this point in time, and the estimated loss stands at $5,000.
