A’s hope to bump the winning streak to four

Fresh off as series sweep of the division rival Angels, the Oakland Athletics start a challenging series with the American League East leading Baltimore Orioles. The Orioles, visiting the Oakland Coliseum for the only time in 2024, bring a 55-32 record into the matchup, while the A’s, despite a three-game win streak, sit at 33-56.

Hogan Harris, the 27-year-old lefty out of Lafayette, Louisiana will get the start tonight. Harris is 1-2 in eight games (six starts) this season with a 3.18 ERA. He’ll face Albert Suárez, a 34-year-old Venezuelan right hander. Suárez enters tonight’s game with a 4-2 record and 2.43 ERA in seventeen games (ten starts) this season.
