Ink whizz proudly shows off the tattooed freckles she’s given her client – but everyone says they ‘look like blackheads’
A TATTOO whizz has found herself brutally mocked after people insisted her inked freckles resembled big ”blackheads”.
Sophia Marin, from Tuscon, Arizona, took to Instagram to proudly show off one of her latest ink masterpieces – tattooed freckles – however, it went horribly wrong.
An ink whizz has been brutally slammed on Instagram after sharing her faux freckles[/caption] Unfortunately for Sophia and her client (pictured), people thought the mini dots looked like ‘blackheads’[/caption] After going viral, the Arizona-based ink pro raced to hit back at the haters[/caption]The now-viral video sees the beauty whizz share the results of her client’s brand new inked freckles which she had scattered around her nose, as well as below her eyes.
The mini dots, which she has inked on other clients too, were light brown in colour and had been carefully hand-poked during the session.
According to Sophia, those keen to cover their face in faux freckles should be ready to book more than one session, as the inked dots will fade lighter.
”Separate freckle sessions creates a more natural, layered effect with the first layer being more faded and scattered underneath the second,” she explained in a different post.
But while both the client and Sophia may have been all chuffed with the tattoo makeover, adding it had ”cured” them, the reaction online was brutal.
Thousands of the staggering 4.6million viewers flocked to comments in sheer horror where they shared their thoughts on the fake permanent freckles.
More than 100,000 people noted that, unfortunately, the inked feature reminded them of something less adorable – fat blackheads.
”They kinda remind me of blackheads,” wrote one person, as others gave the comment a like.
Another agreed, adding: ”I hope they look better healed, the look more like spots/dots rather than freckles, freckles aren’t really the same size and those all are so it’s throwing me off a bit.”
Another mortified viewer remarked: ”They look like open pores.”
”Freckles are much more clustered than that babes, they don’t have dainty little spaces in between each one,” wrote someone else, as the overall result was deemed ”terrible” by another.
After her ink masterpiece was brutally mocked by vicious Instagram users, the tattoo pro edited the post with a response hitting back at the bullies.
Talented Sophia, whose impressive portfolio also features stunning florals and animals, explained that at first, the results will always appear ”intense” to the eye.
”Handpoked Freckles ALWAYS look intense or “like a skin condition” (lol) immediately after the session.

”After about a month they fade 40-60% lighter and then gradually over time after that.
”Every client has different inspo [inspiration] of what they would like and we discuss that beforehand.”
The whizz, who boasts more than 3k followers on her page, added that these dots ”look very bold because the skin is still swollen and the ink is fresh”.
The layered, natural look, she went on to explain, ”is achieved through multiple sessions as to not overwork the skin and this is only after one”.
”I encourage everyone to look at my freckles highlight to see the way they heal naturally.
”Til then, keep hatin’ & driving up my engagement please.”
