Spanish holiday resort home to Europe’s longest infinity pool -with beach views and cocktail buttons
EUROPE’S longest infinity pool is just one of several unique features found at a luxury resort, found in one of the most popular tourist destinations.
Tenerife in the Canary Islands is frequently visited by holidaymakers, with Brits among those who are particularly keen.
One of the best rated accommodation options in Tenerife is the Gran Melia Palacio de Isora Resort & Spa.
It sits on the seafront, overlooked by the largest salt-water infinity pool found in the whole of Europe, measuring in at 400m in length.

There are also hydromassage areas, while there’s direct access to the beach, as well as other natural seawater pools.
The resort has its own subtropical gardens and every single room, suite or villa has its own terrace either overlooking them or the ocean.
They also have their own private bathrooms, all containing a large bath as well as hydromassage showers for guests to relax under after a day in the sun.
Once cleaned and smartened up, they can visit one of the seven restaurants on-site, including Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese and an international buffet, with cooking displays put on by trained chefs.
In addition to the restaurants, there are also eight different bars which include a piano bar, beach bar and lounge bar, providing plenty of different options for guests to drink throughout their stay.
For those less interested in drinking, tennis and paddle courts are on site, as is a 24-hour gym, three more freshwater swimming pools, one of which adults are only permitted to swim in.
Meanwhile, kids have their own pool too, complete with a waterslide slide to play on.
