Man arrested at airport with drugs in his suitcase

A 30-year-old man was arrested with 15.6 kg of cannabis in his suitcase at Larnaca airport, police said on Sunday.

According to police, the man was found at his arrival in Larnaca on Saturday afternoon.

The customs department cooperated with the drug squad Ykan for the operation.

The man was found with the drugs in two packages in his suitcase.

The drugs were seized, and the man held for questioning. Later on Sunday, the man was remanded for eight days by the court.
