Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott seen for first time after she was spotted ‘crying in the street’ amid ‘crisis talks’
SAM Thompson and Zara McDermott were spotted running errands around London amid rumours of trouble in their relationship.
The pair, who have been together since 2019, were seen hopping out of a cab near their London home.
Wearing casual wear, with Sam in jeans and a grey hoody and Zara in a charcoal grey jumper and black yoga trousers, the duo seemed relaxed with each other as they jumped out of a cab.
While Zara was busy talking on her phone, Sam got out of the car first carrying what appears to be a new scratching post for their pet cats, Albus and Cedric.
The pair dote on their pets, with Zara previously explaining to Heat Magazine: “It’s so lovely to come home and hear them running to greet us.
“We genuinely love them like they’re our children, and they’re so much easier to look after, as well!”
Their domestic day appears to shut down speculation Zara had moved out of their shared home.
It comes amid rumours there is trouble in their relationship, with the couple holding “crisis talks” in order to put the romance back on track.
The pair reportedly had a blazing row last week that prompted Zara to walk out and head to her family’s house for a period of time.
However, just days later Zara shared a picture that suggested she was with Sam on a stroll together.
Yesterday, Zara was spotted crying in the street while talking animatedly on the phone.
Our exclusive snap showed Zara sobbing as she was overheard in the street yelling into her mobile: “I’m not feeling the way I need to feel and I’ve been putting it off.”
Hours later, Zara changed into a glamorous striped cream dress and heels to attend Wimbledon, but was accompanied by her father Alan, 60, instead of I’m A Celeb winner Sam.
A source close to the couple said: “It’s been a tough week for Sam and Zara, but they are still in the process of trying to work through their issues.
“They’re pursuing every avenue, but the outcome is still up in the air.
“They need some time. There is a lot of love there, but they’re still young and finding their way amid the responsibilities of work.
“Zara, in particular, has had an emotional week and has been tearful, but has been trying her best to focus on work commitments.”
