How Denzel Washington Became the ‘The Model Husband’ to Wife Pauletta After Years of Cheating Rumors

Denzel Washington and his wife Pauletta Pearson have been together for well over 40 years now. They met on the television film Wilma back in 1977, and have since welcomed four children, showing everyone they’re one of the happiest couples in Hollywood. However, Washington was at the center of cheating rumors, and since then, he’s allegedly been a “model husband” to Pearson.

Per Heavy, he was seen kissing a mystery blonde woman in 2013, and before that, in the early 2000s, he was allegedly linked to former co-star Sanaa Latham, but she denied this.

An insider told Life and Style Magazine that, despite these allegations, Washington has allegedly cleaned up his act and has been the pinnacle of a devoted husband.

“He was dogged by persistent cheating rumors 20 years ago, which he denied,” they said to the outlet. “She never kicked him out. And Denzel has since become the model husband. Denzel was given another chance, and he ran with it.”

They added that Washington “can’t imagine life without her” and “Pauletta’s the one who’s supported him through his ups and downs. Denzel must ask himself what he did to deserve her!”

Now, Peterson has always been a confident, strong woman, and has said time and time again that she knows who she is, she isn’t bothered by women wanting Washington. During an interview with Wendy Williams via Heavy, she said: “I am secure as to who Pauletta is. My mother raised me in a way to know who I am and actually, he married me for who I am.”

And we just hope they’re both happy and healthy while celebrating 41 years of marriage together.
