Jack Bailey, the 6-foot-10 wing from Blair Academy (NJ) and the Riverside Hawks, has committed to Boston College.
“I felt a really strong connection with Coach [Earl] Grant,” he said. “Not just his vision for the program but the environment of teamwork and achievement that he’s created. He was impressed with how my game has evolved over the past year and after speaking recently, I knew BC was the right place for me to continue to grow and compete!
“I considered a number of other P5 high-academic schools, but BC was the perfect fit for me!”

Bailey was also courted by other high-powered academic schools like Stanford, Notre Dame and Harvard, among others.
“Jack is a supremely skilled versatile 6-10 forward who fits the positionless modern game perfectly,” Blair coach Joe Mantegna told ZAGSBLOG. “He is our team’s best passer and makes others better every time he takes the floor. More than that, he is a kind, humble and unifying teammate who strengthens every locker room he inhabits.”
