Love Island’s Matilda left gobsmacked as Sean delivers brutal put-down – and fans are furious

LOVE Island fans have been left furious at Sean Stone after he shut down Matilda Draper in a vicious swipe during movie night. 

The annual Love Island film fest brought drama to the villa, airing scenes from Casa Amor that revealed what the islanders really got up to with their partners.

In one segment, titled ‘From Dusk Til Sean’, Matilda was left gobsmacked as Sean was seen shamelessly flirting with multiple girls in the villa. 

At one point he was seen kissing Casa Amor girl Diamanté, later kissing again while they were in bed together. 

He was also seen “enjoying this experience for what it is” calling Diamanté his “priority”. 

After the clip finished, Sean tried to brush it off as “nothing new”, but Matilda hit back, saying he downplayed what he’d said to Diamanté despite her giving him the opportunity to be honest. 

“For me, to the boys I made it clear that you were still my priority full stop,” she told him. 

“No, you actually got closed down by Hugo,” Sean swiped, “If he’d have carried on with you, it would’ve been a different story.” 

An infuriated Matilda told him that a conversation does not mean hitting on him, and wasn’t the same as kissing other girls. 

“When the f**k did I get closed down by Hugo?!” she yelled, as Hugo – who is now coupled up with Jess – sat awkwardly in between them. 

When he’s dragged into the argument by Sean, Hugo said that he “didn’t pursue it” but tried to stay out of it. 

“He didn’t shut it down, I had two conversations with Hugo that’s what happened, so shut up. You’re in the wrong and I’m not,” Matilda asserted. 

While he said he has apologised and “put his hands up” for his wrongdoings, the boys swooped in and backed him up.

Fans were left furious at the argument, siding with Matilda who said Sean was out of line for his behaviour.

“these boys trying to turn this around on matilda when she literally only SPOKE to hugo and sean was IN BED KISSING (AND MORE) is actually so disturbing,” wrote one.

“The fact Sean is even trying to embarrass Matilda is madness. He’s actually such an ick,” said another.

“Sean is a villain omg. Imagine how Matilda feels lowering her standards for him to treat u like s***,” said another.

“I HATE men who try to humble woman for no reason, that’s Sean. He’s trying to humble Matilda because he got caught out. Ick ick ICK”
