PHOTOS: Last day of Waterfront Blues Fest 2024

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The 37th annual Waterfront Blues Fest entered its last day on Sunday.

But the excessive heat warning didn't stop festival goers from taking in everything they could, including "The First Lady of Portland Blues” herself, LaRhonda Steele, who performed alongside her family band on the Blues Stage in the early afternoon.

There were also umbrellas a-plenty, with attendees keeping cool as best they could amid the 98-degree temps.

But once the evening sets in, people can forward to sets from artists including Portland-based blues singer and guitarist Curtis Salgado, as well as Greensky Bluegrass who close out the festival.
