Maryland OKs $50.3 million contract to remove bridge collapse debris

ANNAPOLIS, Maryland: The Maryland Board of Public Works, led by Governor Wes Moore, approved a US$50.3 million emergency contract this week with Skanska USA Civil Southeast Inc. to remove debris from the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in March.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers cleared debris from the federal channel in the Patapsco River, but Maryland entered into the emergency contract with Skanska in April
