Watch £47m Chelsea wonderkid Messinho, 17, score unbelievable solo goal as fans hail him ‘generational talent’

BRAZILIAN wonderkid Estevao Willian was labelled a “generational talent” after scoring an incredible solo goal for Palmeiras.

The 17-year-old, also known as Messinho, fired the Sao Paulo-based side into a 1-0 lead over Bahia on the brink of half-time.

‘Messinho’ cut inside and curled his shot straight into the top-left corner

Following a Bahia corner, the ball was headed out to the edge of the box.

Midfielder Jean Lucas attempted to pass it back into the penalty area, but Anibal Moreno was there to intercept.

The Palmeiras star then sent a first-time pass to Estevao in the centre circle, who went on to run over half the length of the pitch before curling the ball into the top-left corner with his left foot.

Fans took to social media to react, with one person writing: “What a goal…. Generational talent.”

Another agreed, adding: “He’s a generational talent .”

A third wrote: “Man is too talented.”

While a fourth commented: “He doesn’t score normal goals. His goals catalogue is already better than some wingers in Europe.”

‘Messinho’ agreed to join Chelsea in a £47million transfer last month.

However, he will not officially join the club until he turns 18 next summer.

Blues fans already believe he is better than his Brazil team-mate Endrick, who recently signed for Real Madrid.

One person said: “This boy is clear of Endrick.”

While another commented: “Real Madrid’s head must be hot, signed Endrick when the best player on that team is easily Estevao .”

Estevao made his first team breakthrough at Palmeiras last year and has since scored six goals in 27 appearances.
