If you’re in the market for a new table, sofa, or decorations for your garden, it might be a good time to bag a bargain.

Discounts of up to 50% off are now available, with a charcoal BBQ priced at £70, down from £140.

The retailer is also selling a TV unit for half price, now costing £130, down from £260.

Another product at half price is a boutique coffee table that costs £55, down from £110.

Argos is also selling a six-seater plastic garden patio set for just £187, and you could save £62 from the original price of £249.

The set, which is dark grey, includes a large table and six chairs to accommodate your guests over the summer.

On top of the sale, there’s also a clearance section on the retailer’s website where you can find some useful items at discounted prices.

One of the items in the clearance section is a two-seater metal garden swing chair priced at £179, down from £239.

And if you’re in the market for some home decorations, the company is selling an artificial plant with a ceramic pot for just £3.60.

It comes as a shopper spotted an extra large air fryer on sale at Argos for just £22.50.

Evelyn took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share the incredible deal.

Posting a snap of the Power XL 5.7l Air Fryer, she wrote alongside it: “Just purchased this little bargain!”

And people were quick to comment on the post, although many insisted the device was sold out in multiple stores.

“Bloody bargain!” one wrote.

“I just got one being delivered to my store tomorrow and used £12.50 of Nectar points so cost me £10,” another added.

How to bag a bargain

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.

Always make sure to shop around to find the best deals, as these can change based on stock and availability in your location.

You can also compare prices on Google shopping or use deal-finding sites Latest Deals and HotUKDeals to stay on top of bargains.

While some retailers offer free delivery when ordering online, others require you to pay for the item to be shipped and delivered to you, so keep in mind you might need to pay extra for delivery.
