Aldi is known for it’s bargain garden buys, from plants and lighting to stunning ornaments, but this item gives shoppers the best of both worlds.

The Garden Bright Solar Crackle Ball Tulip has a stunning light in the centre to illuminate your garden, but it also features as a ornament too.

Taking to the popular Facebook group Aldi UK Shoppers, one gardening fan called Louise raved about her find.

“Love my solar light from Aldi at £12.99,” she wrote in the group, alongside a snap of her purchase.

After sharing her find other keep bargain hunters couldn’t wait to hunt the aisles to snap up one for themselves.

One commented on the post: “Looks great, might have to treat myself to one.”

“Gorgeous, great find,” another commented.

And a third said: “I wished I’d bought one now, but our garden is already visible from space due to the zillion or so solar lights in it!”

“Oooh that’s lovely,” another chimed in.

But the find isn’t the only garden item Aldi shoppers are loving right now.

One savvy shopper recently spotted another garden feature in their local store and posted a photo of it on the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook page.

They captioned it: “Just bought this fella. Love him £9.99.”

The Easter Island-themed head planter has been a hit with shoppers, with other middle aisle fans also chiming in to say they snapped up the same planter.

Both posts have notched up hundreds of likes and dozens of comments between them, with shoppers keen to snap up one of the quirky garden features.

One branded the planter “just beautiful” while another commented “I bought one as well love mine.”

Another joked: “He’s fab. Better looking than my ex hubby.”

A fourth chimed in: “Where can I buy him please. He’s lovely.”

You can find your nearest Aldi branch by using the retailer’s store locator tool on its website.

Of course, whenever buying anything like this, remember to shop around to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

Websites like Price Spy and Trolley let you compare prices on products across retailers and supermarkets.

Meanwhile, the Google Shopping/Product is useful for scanning the internet to see how much a particular item is selling for across different websites.

When's the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when shops open

Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”

That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.

Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.

You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.

They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible
