Bu they took time out of their schedule to make the long trip to the other side of the world to attend the Championships at Wimbledon last week.

While at the All England Club, they were keen to try strawberries and cream.

Renowned as a much-beloved Wimbledon snack, a box of at least 10 strawberries and cream has remained the same £2.50 price at the Championships since 2010.

The simple but delicious offering has long been a fans’ favourite.

But, sadly, Nick and Xavier were left disappointed.

Taking to Partyshirt’s TikTok account, the pair shared a clip of themselves trying Wimbledon’s strawberries and cream.

They captioned their post: “Waited 28 years for this moment.”

Despite the snack being called “strawberries and cream”, the duo were bizarrely left expecting more.

Xavier asked: “When you heard strawberries and cream, was this what you were expecting?”

To which Nick replied: “I don’t know, I thought it was gonna be like a cake, or something.”

Despite clearly being underwhelmed, Nick did add: “I mean… it’s literally cream on strawberries. It’s not bad.”

After trying the snack himself, and describing the cream as “powerful”, Xavier was asked if he would have it again.

He bluntly replied: “No.”

I thought it was gonna be like a cake, or something.

The duo have nearly 20million followers on TikTok, with plenty leaving a comment on their strawberries and cream tasting video.

One wrote: “Tall a** box for what?”

While a second joked: “Bro heard “strawberries and cream” and genuinely thought it would be a cake.”

And a third claimed: “God Damn delicious.”

What it's like to be a Wimbledon ball kid

By Alison Maloney

WHILE the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Coco Gauff and Andy Murray keep us entertained during this summer’s Championships, spare a thought for those unsung heroes that keep the tournament going.

Personal trainer Alex Crockford, now 33, served as a ball boy at Wimbledon in 2005 and 2006, and has lifted the lid to SunSport on what it’s really like.

“Standing still for hours is one of the toughest parts of being a ball boy,” he says.

“It’s quite strict and you don’t want to let your team down or feel like you’re doing a bad job.

“I remember one really hot day, I clearly hadn’t fuelled or hydrated myself appropriately.

“I did have a very faint moment, and started seeing blurry stars.

“There are six BBGs on the court and a captain, which was me, so I was standing to the left of the umpire chair and I was away from my water.

“I had to go outside of my position, get some water and re-balance myself before I could continue.”
