Mitre rebrands as Andean Silver

The shareholders of Australian minerals explorer Mitre Mining have approved a name change to Andean Silver, reflecting its growth aspirations through the Cerro Bayo project, in Chile. The company acquired the asset late last year and has enjoyed “immense success” at the project since, says CEO Tim Laneyrie.
