It will be Diamond taking on Emerald in the final of the women’s Hoopsfix Pro-Am next week on Sunday at Brixton Rec.
Emerald became the first team to book their spot in the finals next week as they dispatched of Sapphire, 69-60 in the opening game of the day.
Two 2024 Hoopsfix All-Star Classic alumni faced off as they made their 2024 Pro-Am debut in Elia Ando (15p, 11r) for Sapphire and Esther Kursite (14p, 5r) for Emerald.
MJ Sarkodee-Adoo led Emerald in scoring off the bench, as Chinwe Iwunze had another strong performance with 14 points and nine rebounds.
Jessica Beeler tallied 13 points and nine rebounds for Sapphire.
In the second semi-final, Diamond booked their ticket to the final with their win over Ruby, 60-49.
A 9-0 run in the last two minutes of the game sealed victory for Diamond to set up a final match up with Emerald next week.
Amanda Okodugha went for 19 points and seven rebounds. Vanessa Akra added 10 points and nine rebounds. Kat Goldsby tallied 10 points, five rebounds and four assists off the bench for Diamond.
Megan Verbeeten, another Hoopsfix All-Star Classic alumnus, led Ruby with 14 points.
