FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Monday afternoon!

It's a bright start to the work week with temperatures on their way to above average numbers. There is the lightest amount of humidity in the area. While skies remain dry today, we could see some tropical moisture finding its way into Central Ohio by the middle of the week.

Temperatures are on their way to the lower 90s for this afternoon. With the small amount of humidity, the heat index will pull "feels like" values a few degrees above the actual temperature. We're staying warm tonight with more clouds starting to build into the area.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy will spotty to isolated chances for showers and storms building late in the evening. Temperatures will begin to cool, but we're still in the upper 80s for Tuesday's high. Rain chances build overnight going into Wednesday as the remnants of Beryl move into the Midwest.

The best chance to see rain from Beryl will come on Wednesday when the low pressure center slides into the Great Lakes. If the low stays farther to our north, we'll likely be spared from most of the rain. Wet weather will quickly taper off by Wednesday night leaving us fairly clear for Thursday.

Going into the following weekend, temperatures will warm up again to the upper 80s and lower 90s. Skies remain dry for Friday and Saturday. Sunday we'll start to see more clouds move in with spotty chances for showers returning as well.
