FURIOUS Love Island viewers have hit out at one contestant and have accused him of “gaslighting” his villa partner in the wake of Movie Night fallout.
Fans of the ITV2 dating show have been left appalled at the behaviour of Wil Anderson after his cheating Casa Amor antics were exposed on-screen to a devastated Uma Jammeh.
Uma had been aware of Wil’s shock betrayal but was left furious to see it play out during the programme’s infamous Movie Night as she learned how deep the betrayal ran.
She was further left flustered when he was exposed at attempting to form a connection with Joey Essex‘s partner Jessy.
Following the explosive revelations, Uma and Wil were embroiled in a heated discussion where he continued to downplay his Casa Amor relationship with Lucy.
But fans have taken aim at Wil and have accused him of gaslighting the beauty in a bid to win her back around amid his betrayals.
Branding him “toxic”, one fan raged: “Will is TOXIC. Uma genuinely deserves so much better. The gaslighting is wild. #loveIsland.”
Another added: “Naaa the gaslighting from will is scary! I’ll be sooo p***ed off if Uma goes because of him.”
A third seethed: “Will is pure red flags , proper gaslighting Uma.”
Before a fourth wrote: “The gaslighting from Wil is actually disgusting! Get this idiot OUT! Uma dodged a bullet. He actually makes me feel sick.”
The fan fury comes after it was revealed that Uma had chosen to QUIT villa life after Wil was dumped after a public vote.
The Sun exclusively revealed one star made the decision to walk after their partner was dumped in a cruel twist.
It’s now been revealed that it was in fact Uma who followed hot on the heels of Wil Anderson.
The 23-year-old chose to leave after being swiped by new bombshell Reuben Collins in a recoupling in scenes that are yet to air.
The recoupling left Wil single and he was ordered to leave the villa.
A source said: “The villa is so full that people are sleeping on the day beds.
