Rafael Devers put on a show at Yankee Stadium over the weekend, slugging three home runs as the Boston Red Sox earned a series victory over their American League East rivals.

Domination against New York is nothing new for Devers, who now holds 27 home runs and 70 RBI in his career against the Yankees.

MLB Network analyst Mark DeRosa raved over the nonstop that the Red Sox slugger seems to find every time he steps foot in The Bronx.

“We’re gonna love on him in Yankee Stadium real quick because the numbers are gargantuan,” DeRosa said on “MLB Central” on Monday.

The Red Sox star infielder came up clutch with a pair of home runs to lead Boston to a 3-0 victory over the Yankees on Sunday night.

“He’s become the new king in New York when he’s driving the ball the way he has on the stage always,” DeRosa continued. “Alex Cora talked about him kind of being a little different in the clubhouse yesterday and in the dugout getting ready for this game. The thing that blows me away, I don’t think it’s necessarily a Fenway thing, is his ability to drive the ball the other way.”

Devers did just that when he took New York starter Luis Gil deep for the game’s first run in the eventual Red Sox win.

“Devers has been an absolute killer in Yankee Stadium,” DeRosa added.

The Red Sox are 4-2 against the Yankees this season with Devers playing a starring role.
