Albany man pleads guilty to vehicular homicide

The Albany County District Attorney's Office announced that an Albany man pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide on Monday.

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County District Attorney's Office announced that an Albany man pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide on Monday. Caezare Ebron, 37, is scheduled for sentencing following this guilty plea on September 6.

With this plea, Ebron admitted to causing Kyreem Softleigh's death by causing a car crash while under the influence of alcohol. It is also alleged that Ebron left the scene of the incident without reporting it.

Ebron faces a term of 12.5 to 25 years in prison when sentenced.
