Tobey Maguire has his ex-wife Jennifer Meyer in his corner amid rumors that he’s dating a 20-year-old model.

Rumors emerged over the weekend after Tobey was photographed leaving a Fourth of July party alongside model Lily Chee, who is 29 years younger than him.

In a reply on her jewelry brand’s Instagram page, which seemingly has been deleted, Jennifer responded to someone who left a negative comment. The comment was captured by someone on Reddit.

“Why is your ex husband banging someone 3 years older than your daughter,” someone commented on Jennifer‘s page.

She responded, “I don’t usually respond to such nonsense, but he was kindly helping a friend to her car. Being a good guy. And now he has blasted online for dating someone he is not. But thank you for your rude comments. I hope it made you feel better today. Wishing you love and light.”

Tobey and Jennifer were married from 2007 until their separation in 2016. The former couple, who share two children, finalized their divorce in 2020.
