Watervliet PD investigating toddler's death

WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Watervliet Police Department is investigating after a child died on Monday.

Police were called around 10:30 a.m. Monday to the Michael J. Day housing complex for a 2-year-old boy, who was not breathing and unconscious. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The cause of death remains under investigation. Police remained at the scene Monday night.
