Adaptive playground equipment installed at Halfmoon Town Park

Leaders in Halfmoon are taking new steps to make the town's playground more accessible.

HALFMOON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Leaders in Halfmoon are taking new steps to make the town's playground more accessible. The town installed new, adaptive equipment at the playground in town park.

The playground now has sensory music panels, a unity basket, and other features meant for children with different developmental needs.

Leaders said it will make it easier for more families to enjoy the park. The project was funded through the town's Character Counts program, which works to foster inclusivity.
