Mumbai: Days after the T20 World Cup 2024 triumph, fans have still not over the win. As the euphoria still continues, India captain Rohit Sharma faced the ire on social space. The Indian captain faced the heat for his action in Barbados after India won the title. Rohit, in a moment of excitement, took the Indian flag and made it touch the ground. Now, fans are reacting to it.
Fans even highlighted a clause from the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971: “The flag shall not be allowed intentionally to touch the ground or the floor or trail in water”.
