Media accreditation open for WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup in Colombia

All members of the media, both local/national and international, who plan to cover the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup must apply for accreditation through the official WBSC Media Accreditation online platform at https://my.wbsc.org.

<p>Media registration is open for the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2024-vi-u15-baseball-world-cup/home" target="_blank">WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2024 </a>due to be played in Barranquilla and Cartagena, Colombia, from 16 to 25 August. The deadline for registration is 4 August.</p>

<p>Once the request is submitted, media members will receive an automated email confirmation that their application has been received.&nbsp;Those media intending to cover the event remotely should contact the WBSC Media Department by writing to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:media@wbsc.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)">media@wbsc.org</a>.</p>

<p>Another automated message will indicate a "change of status" in the accreditation request.</p>

<p>Media members can check their request status&nbsp;<strong>after the registration&nbsp;deadline</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>4&nbsp;August</strong>,&nbsp;by accessing my.wbsc.org and clicking&nbsp;<a href="https://my.wbsc.org/mediareq/index" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)">SEARCH FOR YOUR ACCREDITATION</a>&nbsp;on the top right of the page. They will then need to enter their name, last name and email address.</p>

<p>The WBSC will share a protocol for media interviews during the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup with the accredited media before the tournament opens.</p>

<ul><li>Only rights holders of applicable games may transmit game footage (audio and/or video) of WBSC events.</li><li>NRH media credentials provide access to official training sessions, games, and Opening/Closing Ceremonies.</li><li>Specific categories will grant credentials (i.e., Press, Photographer, Radio and TV, Team Media), and stadium access will be given accordingly.</li><li>Photographers, NRH TV crews, and Team Media will be required to wear WBSC-issued media vests.</li></ul>
