Arrest made in June 23 shooting near Church’s Chicken in Opelousas
OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY)-- An arrest was made in connection with a shooting that happened near Church’s Chicken on N Main Street in Opelousas.
On June 23, around 10:55 a.m., the Opelousas Police Department went to the scene of the incident, which was located in the 100 block of E Prudhomme Street, and discovered Stephon Reed with gunshot wounds; the victim was transported to a local hospital.
Todd Stelly has been charged with attempted second degree murder and possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies.
