Eastern Railway earns over Rs 953 crore of passenger revenue in Apr-Jun

The Eastern Railway reported a 9.97 per cent increase in passenger revenue, totaling Rs 953.24 crore for the first quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year, compared to Rs 866.79 crore in the same period last year. Originating passengers rose by 3.36 per cent to 2,87,654 from the previous year's 2,78,309, according to an official statement.
