Trump ex Marla Maples suggests she could be VP in first interview in 8 years

Donald Trump’s spurned second wife has “forgiven” the ex-president and is revved up to help him win the presidency — and even sees herself as a possible vice president.

In her first interview in eight years, Marla Maples — who was blamed for the end of Trump's union with first wife Ivana, and who was later dumped for Melania — told the UK’s Evening Standard she doesn’t believe the many allegations against her ex.

And she said she’s willing to do whatever is needed to help him become president again.

“I’m ready. I am available if needed and I’m not sitting back anymore,” said Maples, who has a daughter, Tiffany, with Trump. “I want to step out more, share more and not be afraid of positive or negative outcomes that come from speaking out... It’s time I can really be more on point with what I may be called to do.”

When asked about potentially being Trump’s VP pick, she said, “Someone would have to ask my ex-husband about that. I’m open. I’m open to whatever way that I can serve. Right now everyone [in the Trump family] is just seeing how we can help.”

The Standard reported Maples’ “support may come as a surprise to some; you could easily forgive Maples for hating her ex-husband.”

But she said, "Anything from the past I’ve forgiven. That is a conversation that Donald and I have had: forgiving each other. Marriages are challenging, especially when you play them out in the media.”

And she dismissed all of the legal challenges against him, including a civil lawsuit that found he sexually abused writer E. Jean Carroll.

“I do know my daughter’s father well enough to know that he’s never had to push himself on another person,” she said. “He’s always had women throw themselves on him instead. I don’t believe there was a crime done.”
