‘It’s giving expensive’ cries Primark worker as she reveals best summer dress that looks great with a tan & is only £25

THEY unload the deliveries and stock up the rails before the doors open for customers.

So Primark workers always get a sneak peek at the store’s new arrivals before shoppers snap them up.

And one employee at the bargain shop’s Perth branch has done a round-up of her “current Primark favourites” for fashion fans.

Giving them a glimpse of the new-in pieces in a short video, she said: “I work in Primark and I’m going to show you some of my favourite bits that we’ve got in at the moment.”

First up, the worker recommended the £3 heatless curl set that she’s personally tried and tested.

“It is amazing”, she gushed.

“It’s so comfy, you don’t feel it when you’re asleep, highly recommend.”

She also told shoppers that “cannot go into Primark without buying a pair of pyjamas” while sharing a pic from the nightwear section and showed off a cute £4 hair bow in the on-trend leopard print.

Elsewhere, the member of staff spoke highly of the reusable cleansing pads in the beauty department, Stanley cup dupes in a smaller size, and seamless underwear sets that are the “comfiest thing” with “unbelievable” material.

Oversized scrunchies, headbands shaped to give you ‘”sunglasses hair” and gold and silver chunky earrings also got a shout-out in the clip, as well as “amazing” £8 gym leggings that are “not see-through and comfy”.

But it was a flattering V-neck dress with pretty spaghetti straps that looked like the ultimate summer buy.

Holding it up on the rail, the Primark worker said: “This dress is giving expensive.

“It’s that nice white embroidery. I just love that for summer. With a tan, that will look gorj.”

The white Strappy Broderie Midi Dress is priced at £25 and is available in sizes 6-22.

It is also available on the click and collect service meaning you can check if your local store has it before heading down.

Primark bosses say: “Warmer weather calls for fabulous new frocks, and our broderie midi dress deserves to be at the top of said list!

“Sporting an elegant V-neckline and delicate shoulder straps that cross at the garment’s back for a beautiful touch from every angle, this broderie-made beauty is a must for sunny days.

“The fitted bodice accentuates your natural frame, while the lightly pleated midi skirt adds a touch of feminine grace to the piece.

“Arriving a timeless white hue, this dress is incredibly versatile, effortlessly complementing any accessory or occasion.

“Whether you’re attending a garden party or enjoying a casual day out with your closest friends, this broderie midi dress promises a chic and sophisticated look that’s sure to be complimented.

“Go on, it’s time to embrace the charm of English summers in this gorgeous cotton number!”

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
